Welcome to Andersen Community Academy! Andersen serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Our motto is “Raising the bar for higher expectations” and we are certainly doing just that! Andersen supports a diverse community while continuously working to improve the academic achievement of all its students. The key to our success is the dedication of our faculty, parents and students in creating an environment that is both challenging and rewarding.

While instruction and learning is at the core of all we do, Andersen is truly committed to building a community. Throughout the year, we provide numerous events and activities to supplement the experience of our families. Whether it is Family Reading Night or an Early Childhood Art Gallery, Andersen looks forward to building lasting relationships with its students and their families. Community involvement and parent support are key elements to Andersen Community Academy’s success. We encourage you to find ways in which to become involved, and collaborate with the staff to ensure the most meaningful and memorable experience for your child.

Andersen’s students have shown growth in all areas, as evidenced by the test scores on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT). This could not have been possible without the teamwork and dedication of the teaching and support staff.
